Update as of 5/11/21

I have recently accepted a position as the director of the Consumer Justice Clinic at East Bay Community Law Center. I’m thrilled to continue working directly with clients, but to also pursue more policy work and training Berkeley law students. One requirement of my new employment is that I no longer perform paid legal services outside of EBCLC.

Sadly after nearly a decade of enjoying my private practice, I am closing this firm. I will continue to provide free education at Creatives’ Legal Resource. While I abhor templates, the thought of wasting my decade of experience and through contracts is heartbreaking. So I am in the process of creating user friendly and guided templates of all the contracts I have created.

Thank you so much to all my clients. Your trust in me has been a responsibility that I have taken seriously. I’m honored to have worked with so many talented artist and I look forward to continuing my mission of empowerment through education at Creatives’ Legal Resource.

With sincere gratitude,

Desiree Nguyen Orth

Great news! I have been working diligently with a friend, Deanna DeCosimo to take over my practice and business model. I have been mentoring Deanna since 2019 and I know she is the right person for the job. We continue to work closely and all clients can reassured that Deanna has full access to me if she needs any help!

Please say hello and make Deanna feel as welcomed and loved as you have all done for me!
